The Wallpaper Talks

This is a favorite post of mine. I wrote it when I first started blogging 12 years ago. 

 

Corey amaro wallpaper  French antique 1900s

 

 

They stared into the future,  

their hair turned white,

she lost her footing,

he didn't take her hand,

she took hold of herself.

"Why did you wear red pants?"

"Why didn't you wear any jewels?"

They had it out for one another,

"Your pants don't match the scenery"

He didn't comment.

They stood still,

for ages,

their shadows told the time,

 

 

Note: *1900s hand-painted French wallpaper that I bought nearly 23 years ago.

  3. I have it framed and hanging in our dining room. It has another panel, similar to this one. It is seven feet by three feet wide. Before that it hung in our bedroom.

  4. Oh I just love French Toile (twall) paper. I just had my bedroom done all in Frecnh wallpaper , blue and white

  5. What a wonderful story, very deep…and I’ll bet the wallpaper got used in a special way too.
