It IS needlepoint. It is a lovely piece.

All those lovely flower images — and us with snow flurries again today, and a bit more forecast again for the next few days 🙁

  3. The water in the vase–thank you for pointing out that detail!

Never tire of looking at your finds!

Indeed it is needlepoint – hundreds and hundreds of stitches and far too many hours to stitch. And as one stitches, so many thoughts are within the stitches.

  6. It is indeed needlepoint. Vertical stitching called
    “gobelin stitching “. Lovely piece.
All the flowers are perfect today to lift my hopes
that soon all the swelling buds on bushes will be
Leaves and flowers. Mos now predicted for tonight
    and tomorrow.
What a lovely visual your brocante visit provides.❤️

Lots to like in this post. The known painting is great. The Napoleon III chairs too.
