Below are a series of photos taken by Sacha on the day we (Chelsea and I) went shopping for wedding clothes. Sacha went along to have his suit tailored, he thought we would shop for an hour or so considering Chelsea is not a shopper and has had most her clothes since the sixth grade. I know the other day I said Yann hadn't been shopping since 200 B.C. and that was a mild exaggeration, so you might think I am doing the same mild type of exaggeration regarding Chelsea. Well I am not.
First, we went to have Sacha's suit tailored.
While there Chelsea tried on a few things.
I danced around in a blue dress.
Because I plan to dance at the wedding I had to test dresses for movement, flow and that my undergarments do not show.
Blue was a hit color, but I do not know if blue is what I want.
Shirt yes
Belt must find
Shoes yes
Socks not wearing any
Suit check
Tie… Martin needs to decide on color.
I am thinking to buy this blue dress.
as a back up in case, I do not find anything.
Sacha was still in a good mood with our shopping.
Guess the colors of the wedding?
Suit measured.
Its a wrap for Sacha.
So we moved on to the next shop.
I loved this outfit.
Chelsea did too.
Pants for a wedding?
Hope it isn't too cold in Paris.
Orange.
From wearing all black to wearing color was a switch I never thought I could make.
But the dresses did surprise me happily.
Going to the gym, working out has nothing to do with shopping. It is a stamina that Sacha did not have.
Seriously sleeping, snoring followed, we thought of leaving him to be funny, but he would not have found that joke funny.
Sacha put this on his Instagram story.
But pity please do not take, we spent over an hour having his suit measured to be tailored.
A WHOLE HOUR of the entire day is a lot to ask.
We had to update Chelsea's closet. Considering most of her clothes were nearly half her age old…
That takes time.
Sacha found many a throne.
I think that was his first question in the shops:
"Is there a chair?"
We stopped for lunch and then dinner, so that counts for some of the time.
He shopped
He dropped
and
he was still smiling.
