What is love?
Yesterday answered the age-old question not in words but in action.
Such joy.
I am having a hard time putting it into words, the largeness of the moment runs pass me, where tears and laughter take over.
It was extraordinary in the simplest way.
Love is funny.
Love is a contradiction as easy as it is hard,
a completeness.
It challenges and forgives,
It pulls and let goes,
Love is many ways and one way.
Yann and I feel fortunate that Chelsea found love.
What joy it is as parents to see our child happy, that she has found, someone, to share life with and that Martin loves her in return.
And he is a good person (that might sound understated but I think anyone who is a parent knows what I mean.)
Over the years when I would see. Martin, I would thank him for loving and taking care of Chelsea.
Now I have another son.
What a blessing!
Sometimes you will lead
Sometimes he will lead.
Sometimes you will lean on him, and sometimes he will lean on you.
Sometimes you will be mad, and other times nothing will bother you.
Sometimes you will want to cry and other times there will be silence, and sometimes love will run wild, carefree and strong.
Sometimes days go by as they do and you will have to work, pay bills, and tend to your home.
And things will get in the way and distraction might interfere.
and through it all, I pray and trust love will find you again and again and again.
again and again and again.
Chelsea and Martin live it well.
