Speaking of feet — football is the name for soccer in most nations, and the World Cup has just completed its second day (with Portugal tying Spain in a spectacular game today!).
I hope your nieces get the chance to watch one of France’s World Cup matches with the locals on TV at a café or other public venue, for yet another taste of French life! -

Sneakers are definitely more comfortable for doing alot of walking. Brings to mind the old Zydeco tune “Feet don’t fail me now”
