I’m sure when they’re reminiscing and view these pictures in twenty, thirty or forty years from now it will be with great affection and fondness. What great memories they will have!! -

Also, I’ve been meaning to ask: Have any of your nieces studied French in school (or are they now planning to)?
I know from my own experience (trying to learn Portuguese) that getting the chance to visit a country where one’s second language is spoken is an incredible opportunity to become immersed in the language and culture, and that conversing with native speakers is a great way to improve both diction and the ability to reply immediately (although not without its occasional challenges — LOL!).
