  2. I think these young ladies have a marvelous aunt! You’ve taken some wonderful pictures!
    I’m sure when they’re reminiscing and view these pictures in twenty, thirty or forty years from now it will be with great affection and fondness. What great memories they will have!!

    Also, I’ve been meaning to ask: Have any of your nieces studied French in school (or are they now planning to)?
    I know from my own experience (trying to learn Portuguese) that getting the chance to visit a country where one’s second language is spoken is an incredible opportunity to become immersed in the language and culture, and that conversing with native speakers is a great way to improve both diction and the ability to reply immediately (although not without its occasional challenges — LOL!).
