Yes, you read right.
Yann and I went to the Rolling Stones' Concert in Marseille tonight.
I posted some videos on my instagram stories
Wow.
And again Wow.
Those guys are the real deal.
Their energy!
Their music!
The stadium was jammed packed. Not an inch of space anywhere. 58, 000 fans.
They delivered with little fanfare, their music and personalities just rocked the place, and it was extraordinary.
I have tried to see them whenever I can- their energy is off the charts Ronnie Wood- Keith Richard (Before They Make Me Run- one of my favorites)Charlie Watts-the quiet one-and then there is Mick moving like he is a teenager-the show they put on is unbelievable-never knew you were a fan-not my favorite rock and roll band-but sure do not make them like that anymore-I hope they bring the tour state side-a night with the rolling stones is certain to be a REALLY GOOD NIGHT-best concert -the one celebrating 50 years -that was a few years ago KEEP ROCKING BOYS!and you two too! I love the energy at a concert-everyone of one mind -music does that to people

I saw them about 15 years ago at MSG. I sure wish I could jump around like that. It’s great u were able to get tickets!
I’ve seen them four times. Once in 1969, the last time in 1997. I figure that as long as the Stones are touring, I’m not old. BTW, my older sister (70 years old) is taking me to see a Stones tribute band tomorrow.

What a wonderful experience for you both. I think the thing that has come across whenever we’ve gone to concerts (Eagles, Johnny Mathis, Jimmy Buffet, and years ago Louis Armstrong) is that these musicians are over the top when it comes to talent. They not only feel and share their music, but they live it. So glad you had a wonderful time.
