    The colors look like California.

I loved that train ride through the countryside. Your pictures are such a good reminder.

  4. Beverly

Are the golden fields … harvested wheat fields?

  5. Taste of France

These came out beautifully, especially considering how fast the train goes!

  6. How wonderful. I did the very same thing, but we travelled by car to Switzerland and when I wasn’t driving, I snapped away, clouds, fields, ‘allées’, urban & countryside impressions and sent them to friends via WhatsApp…. so beautiful, and far more comfy in a TGV than a car. BUT I return by TGV to Paris too, HH has to drive back on his own later! 🙂

    Wheat and hay fields

  8. I love taking the train in Europe. Americans are mentally stuck in the automobile and have no idea how pleasant train travel can be. Our trains ride on old rail beds and are much slower than European trains.

  9. Beautiful! Looks like a series of paintings.

  10. Beautiful . To me they also have a touch of melancholy. Maybe because I grew up in the country and still miss it and the rumble of the train and its forlorn whistle . I would be a bundle of emotions to be taking my family to the train. Thinking of you today. xo

  11. Outstanding countryside vistas. The yellow fields are really bright and cheerful. Train rides through the countryside never disappoint. Your photos capture the beauty of the fields and open space. Thank you for sharing. Susan
