Carry the tub outside.
Under my arm, I will hold the champagne.
Along the way wildflowers gathered,
tossing them in the tub.
Oh, those wisps of delight.
Fill the tub with the garden hose
Gunna, let it overflow to water the garden at the same time.
Take clothes off,
then toss them far out of sight.
Dip a toe, doesn't matter if it is hot or cold, dive in.
Drink straight from the bottle,
Turn up nature's radio listen:
To the owl's hoot and the shooting stars.
With a watery wildflower wreath, I am going to run and jump in bed wrapping the sheet around me
like a butterfly cocoon.
Why do I do the same thing, the same way, each day?
