Wall of Dishes

wall of dishes

A wall of dishes in our apartment in Paris.

Do you think I need more?

(Clue: The only answer is yes.)

What do you collect?

I love this. I love that they are all white, that they (many? most? all?) have been repaired and that you have given them a new lease on life, in which they have become art.

  2. There is room for more! I like how some are hung to show the back of the plate.
Glass fishing floats, poodle stuff, scented candles and things that make my heart happy.

  3. I love this! I don’t collect anything really, but I inherited my mom’s small teacup collection. I have no idea what to do with them.

I have a “Wall of Women,” paintings of my mom’s. She painted in the impressionist style. Her artwork includes landscapes and portraits, but somehow I inherited mostly portraits (my siblings and I divided the paintings up when my mother passed away, and we took turns choosing–I guess I love portraits!). So, I collect paintings, mostly portraits, and primarily portraits of women.
PS Love your “Wall of Dishes.” I would continue collecting and add onto the collection:)

  5. I remember your Wall of Dishes from our lovely stay in your Paris apartment 4+ years ago. Loved those dishes then; love them now! Ann, St.L., MO
