My French Husband grew up in Brittany. The beautiful landscape makes me wonder how he ever could leave it.

As you know we live in Provence which is not bad at all. But Brittany is tempting me, it is stealing my heart if the blue skies continue and if find my brocante bug drug of antiquing I might have to move here.

  1. That windmill reminds me of the Flemish-style ones in the Azores! (Guess Brittany isn’t too far from Flanders, right?)

  2. Gorgeous….

  3. One of my favourite places ever. The huge skies, rugged coasts, stone buildings, sel gris et fleur de sel, maritime buzz, Côte du Sauvage,…I love it.

  4. It’s one of my favorite places. I left there wondering why it wasn’t a more popular destination.

  5. Beautiful and so very different from Provence.

  6. My girlfriend and I stayed in Lanvalley / Dinan 3 years ago and fell in love with it!! But then we fell in love with Amboise, then with Sarlat in Dordogne, then with Aix, then with tiny Les Baumettes in the Luberon. Impossible to choose a favorite place in such an exquisite country!

  7. I LOVE la Bretagne, and I too wonder how people can leave it…. but the best thing for you is that you can always come back to it!
