Several months ago Yann heard about a group that offered motorcycle tours but not just motorcycle tours, Yann rides a  motorcycle nearly every day, rain, hail, snow, in the evening, in the summer, in a suit, in jeans, always equipped and I trust him completely, but tours on vintage motorcycles truly off the beaten path.

He signed up.

And today he left for a two-week adventure in India.

India will get in his blood as it did in mine after my trip there. He will be overcome by the sights, the brilliant colors of the saris, the friendliness and beauty of the people. He will also be aware of the poverty, the sadness of a country that is quite overpopulated. He will have many stories to tell.

Wow! Fabulous! Enchanting country. Safe trip!!

  11. Holy cow – literally in India. This will be quite the adventure. I’m courteous too as to which area of India he will be seeing. I wish the timing was a bit different because my Tom and I are off to India ourselves in November. Our youngest daughter is getting married in northern India – Jim Corbett National Park. The groom is from India and his parents live there. Our adventure will be different than Yann’s, but still an adventure. I’ll look forward to hearing more. Also I’ll be praying for his safety.

  13. I hope he takes photos too! I would love to see them. By the way the wedding picture from yesterday was really wonderful!
As they say “The world is a book, and he who stays at home reads only one page.” I’m sure Yann will return with a novel’s worth of stories.
