Snapshots from India

I haven’t heard much from Yann. Three phone calls: One was to say he arrived and all was will, the second was while I was in the train and the connection kept cutting out, « … I had a fall at 80km… don’t worry… great time… all ok? », and the last call was at four in the morning, «… leaving for … ten hour train trip… the guide and trip are intensely amazing, hard rides… »

Though the calls have been few, and photos limited his excitement and utter joy are evident. I feel his freedom to ride and his pleasure to witness such vastness and culture.

The latest ride is here… but I do not know where.

Stories to tell once he returns.

  4. I love India! It is such an amazing place, the people, the food, the colors. I am sure he is having a great time. Standing in the Ganges… well, I hope he does not have any scrapes or cuts on his feet or legs. The bacteria levels are off the charts!!
