Provence. Paris. Poland. Italy

French Antiques, Style, Corey Amaro French la vie

The morning sun could not penetrate the coldness that was left behind from the hours of darkness, this morning it was 26 Fahrenheit.

It has been colder.

In Paris, a blanket of white greeted Yann who had a meeting there.

Though he missed Chelsea as she flew to Poland for her work, I am sure it was colder than Paris.

Sacha is in Italy, his heart is warm so nothing else matters.

What is the weather like in your part of the world?

  1. It was 4F here when I got up this AM. I don’t think I’m in California any more 😉
Classic problem from first-year Algebra: At what number is the temperature the same in both Celsius and Fahrenheit?

  2. Farmboy Husband just told me he heard on the news that our overnight low temperature last night was -4F (-20C). I shivered just typing that.

  3. I love that Sacha’s heart is warm.
It is rainy, wet, and clouds here in Portland.

It is 9 degrees today, up from yesterday…and tomorrow is supposed to be 55. Freezing days…warmer days…strange weather.

  5. 2 degrees yesterday so 17 feels positively balmy. Could stand the cold but we have 6 inches of frozen snow which makes walking the dog and just waking and driving in general hazardous.

  6. Very windy grey skies, and 70 degrees F.
Tonight a front comes in from the north, and temperatures drop into 30’s tomorrow.
    Yessssss!!!! Bring it.

Frozen running shorts, woolen hat, and gloves.

  8. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 7°C and sunny. That’s 44°F. We have had the warmest winter that I have seen in the Pacific North West. No one would believe that this is Canada.

We are having a heatwave in Australia 37° Celsius tomorrow & 40° Friday in the city but country areas are 41° to 47° Celsius. The problem we have in Melbourne it can fluctuate daily but I’m not complaining, don’t like the extreme heat & very grateful to have air conditioning.
We have had extreme floods so grasses grew quickly then the hot sun burns it off & we have bushfires! The saddest thing about the bushfires many are deliberately lit.

  10. Southern Spain/Andalucia sunny 15 to 17 degrees. Miss the real winter.

  11. I was in Kentucky over the holidays and it was gray gray gray.
I’m back in Florida now, this week the lows have been in the 40’s F
With about 70 as the high. Absolutely glorious blue skies and crisp air.
I’m going back to KY soon for my granddaughter’s birthday and hoping to see
A blanket of white snow! jody

  12. Yesterday at this time it was 5 degrees, so this morning is balmy at 20. Typical January is Northeastern Nevada. Grateful for a warm house and down comforters this time of year.

I’m in Houston. It’s been in the high 60’s and low 70’s for the last few days. THIS morning…..37 Degrees F and rainy. Some even has seen some sleet. I’M hoping for snow, but it will probably be back to 70 soon. 🙂

  14. I want to know why Sacha’s heart is warm . . . .

  15. Initially I read it as meaning because he wasn’t too far from Mom, Dad, Sis & BIL (with a possible visit on the horizon). But maybe there’s a special someone as well?

  16. I am in now sunny Southern California where it is 67 degrees today & headed for 74 degrees tomorrow. They say it never rains in California, but the past week it poured! The climate, like everywhere, is changing drastically. We are still very fortunate as it’s mostly sunny. After this rain the lawns & golf courses are lush green & flowers are already peeking out.

It is 28 F (-2 C) here in Chicago area–with about 8 inches of snow. I don’t know why I live here. There is NOTHING about winter in Chicago that I like…

I am slow to respond but just confirming that we are in a heatwave in New Zealand…..temps of 32 centigrade….yesterday and very dry conditions indeed here, so I would be happy with a bit of cold right now, shall we do a swap and you can warm up and I can cool down! Cheers!!

  19. So curious about Sacha’s warm heart… Weather here is cold and rainy, which makes for a dangerous mix, so school was cancelled today. They got their money’s worth of me anyway. xoxo
