Happily Stuffed Piglets

Chelsea and Sacha during lunch.

Sacha bought a beret at Maison d'Emperuer to take back to Seattle, he said,

"I am French so I should show it."

Chelsea waiting for Martin to join us at lunch.

The Moroccan restaurant where we were to have lunch,

was kind enough to stay open to serve us

as the train Martin and Fabrice were on was delayed for over an hour due to a flood on the tracks.

And as if the lunch wasn't big enough, Sacha wanted a Raclette dinner.

We had a couple of tons of potatoes, stacks of various cheese mostly Raclette

Peppercorns, pickles, capers, garlic, red peppers, mushrooms, olives, broccoli, eventually salad and then to top off the pounds Sacha wanted the classic gateaux des Rois with frangipane, and Martin Chocolate Mousse.

I did not want to be but I am a stuffed piglet.

They said they wanted pancakes for breakfast but this morning everyone could barely move.

  5. I adore Raclette! It’s on the menu for us, tonight, as snow is in the forecast. Perfect for a cold, snowy day 🙂
