Yum, June is strawberry season here in Boston. It is very difficult to find “real” strawberries (as opposed to the giant, hybrid driscoll berries, made by an agri-business and tasting of water) but I have:) A family owned farm nearby has lovely, small, ruby colored jewels that taste like sweet sunshine on a plate. I get as many as I can and freeze some for winter.
