about last night

During a beautiful wonderful wedding, Yann and I were dancing, on one of our moves we missed each other's hands and I went flying backward landing most painfully on my hands. After several hours in the emergency ward, I have sprained badly my wrist that I severely broke several years ago the pin and plate are still there and that is why the sprain is so bad.

more later when I can see straight.

    Dear Corey,
I’m very sorry that this accident happened. Don’t try to see straight too soon…let painkillers do what they are meant to do to the pain of such a bad sprain. We will be thinking of you and praying for your swift recovery (so that you and Yann can resume your wonderful dancing!).
    Much Love, Leslie

  15. Condolences! I hope you can manage the pain and rest your arm as much as possible for some time to come while still being able to cuddle with your grandson.

  16. I fell and fractured my wrist. This happened playing with my dog, I fell back and landed on my hand/wrist. I wore the same brace. 6 months of healing and the brace and the wrist is fine. My MD recommended Epsom salts in warm water to soak the hand/wrist 2 times a day. No pain and no swelling. Later using a bone density test, it was determined I need Fosamax, weekly for bone building.
