Our friends Sylvie and Pierjean were married in Saint Laurent the oldest church in Marseille. It dates to the year 800 and was built on a Roman temple site. Saint Laurent is on the tip of the old port which gives a view on the boats coming and going the journey is promising.
The reception followed at a Bastide outside of Aix.
They hired a very young chef (22 years of age) and gave her free rein in planning the menu and dessert.
She had an idea to make a modern wedding cake.
DELICIOUS with fresh fruit and flowers, felt like I was taking a bite of the garden of Eden.
