Lean on Love

lean on me

This mysterious thing called life.

So unbelievably beautiful, complex and deeply intertwined.

Today my cousin died.

A beautiful, talented, do-anything-for-anyone, tender-hearted young man.

His death is shocking. I am so sorry for his children, his parents, our family.

I do not understand life at times but this I know:

Love deeply, reap the unending gift that it is to love and be loved,

and when sadness comes

because it will

lean on those who love you.

Lean in and let others hold you.

Godspeed dear Brian.

Hi Corey, I am so sorry to read of your loss. It is so shocking when someone who wasn’t ill passes. My younger brother passed in October – it was a total shock just months after my father passed away – his wife and 18 yo twins stunned.
Life is so precious and complex and beautiful, intense yet surreal.
Love deeply is the only answer.
    God bless.
