Chinese noodle soup

home made

made up by me

for my cold.

Take a pot of water and as it heats add the following

Some diced fresh green beans,

Sliced Chinese cabbage

Red chicory

Ginger and garlic

green onions

parsley,

Chinese noodles (hence the name of my soup)

and here is where it goes in search of flavor and as I am not home where spices fill my cupboards I had to experiment… I added coconut milk, nutmeg, balsamic, mustard, and soy sauce. Honestly I did (!) and it tasted fantastically yummy!

Back to bed tomorrow I trust I will feel renewed.

  1. One of the toughest things for me to give up as a vegetarian was chicken noodle soup (for when I had a cold). But I bet your vegan version opens up the ol’ nostrils and sinuses, and soothes the throat, just as well!
Sure hope that Gabriel doesn’t catch your cold.

  2. P.S. Just for fun, while you’re recuperating.
