Back Home

After an eleven and a half long but safe flight I am back at home in California. At the airport going through customs took over two hours (no seats were available as bad as it was I felt lucky compared to a pregnant woman who was also carrying a small sleepy child as the fear) due to the C. virus at hand. A flight from Hong Kong had arrived at the airport at the same time as our flight arrived. Most of the passengers from Hong Kong were wearing face masks. At Customs, we were asked if we had been to China during the last three weeks. If anyone had been to China, which more then several passengers from Hong Kong had been, they were immediately taken to be examined and for further questioning. As soon as I went through customs I went to the bathroom and washed my hands, suitcase, passport and cell phone. A big thanks to my cousin Robin and Andy who picked me up at the airport and drove the long drive to Willows.

The spectacular view was taken as the plane flew over the Alps.

    Welcome Home.

  2. Prayers fly with you.

  3. I love to take photos through the airplane window, too! Most don’t turn out this well, but once in a while I get lucky.

  4. That is a spectacular view of the Alps! Glad you arrived safe and sound.

  5. Glad you are safe home, Cory.

  6. Safe travel is always a relief. Even better once on the ground and at home. With both the flu and virus circulating this is always a concern as well. Wishing you well in all the best ways as I am sure many rely on your strength and love.
