Years ago there was an interview about Mother Theresa who was in India caring for the dying.

In this particular interview, Mother Theresa was feeding a starving baby while reporters pestered her with comments such as: "You cannot save the dying, you are only one person, look at you care for one baby in the sea of many dying people. What is that you are doing… feeding one life?" and as they threw their insulting accusing anger towards her, Mother Teresa focused on the baby in her arms saying, "Look how he takes the bottle, look how he looks in my eyes, look how he is eating…"

She focused on hope and stood in the sea of suffering doing what she could:

A small stone cast causes ripples.

Those ripples spread forth regardless of what it will run into.

Casting our stone is a daily choice.

  1. So beautiful Corey thank you for bringing these message to us today. I hope you were loved loved loved yesterday momma! I love you!

  2. Mother Teresa always saw the beauty in each person. They say it’s easy to love humanity because humanity doesn’t come knocking on your door in the middle of the night asking for help like your neighbor does. Mother Teresa loved her neighbor. It was personal. Not some distant humanity, but the person right in front of her. She is a true hero. And one of the most amazing people to ever walk this planet. 🙂

  7. and to think she often was in a void….operating in faith because she felt the void saw the void but persisted nonetheless-once while asking for something to eat for a child whose hand she held in her own received a spit in the face from the person being asked to help…..she said THANK YOU now may I have something for the child-absolutely incredible…someone to be admired a real hero!
