  1. My husband loves pie.
A slice of Heaven I am sure this is for all of you
    Love Jeanne

  2. Thank you for the pie recipe. I planted blackberry bushes so I will make this pie. It sounds delicious. Lovely close up photo of the blackberry stem in flower. The two shades of charcoal framing the photo is genius. I noticed this technique in your last photos too.

oooooooo!! Now I need to find blackberries!

  4. So pleased to have your Mom’s recipe. THANK YOU.
I remember picking wild blackberries with my grandmother…The vines grew around a fence sealing off an old well…along with poison oak. The outings always ended with me being scrubbed down with a big bar of yellow soap to avoid the dreaded poison oak rash. The pies and jam were worth it though.

  5. I love the filling more than the crust. I remember picking wild blackberries in the field next door when I was a kid, and wild strawberries too. They were tiny and packed with flavor.

  6. Berry pies are soooooooooooooo delicious! Yummm!
