Guess What His Favorite Two Foods Are?

baby food

One year old

without a single tooth

sucking on an apricot.

He walked at ten months, so did his mom, but she had plenty of teeth at his age.

His favorite food, not the apricot he devoured, nor the seasonal Provencal fruit, oh yes, of course, he likes it- he likes everything except avocados. But his favorite food, the food he eats no matter what, the food he looks for and points towards, and cries for more as if it were candy??

So interesting. His taste leans toward savory vs sweet. That’s gonna be one healthy kid. Do one year olds normally have teeth, I honestly don’t know…

  2. My oldest daughter was another one who was late with her teeth and was all her growing-up years, too. Her younger sister is five years younger, and they were only about a year apart in getting their twelve-year molars. But she’s got great teeth! I know you must love these details about a grandson from whom you are separated.

  3. So precious…………..I love all you share………

That is hilarious! Love it! 💙 When I was a child I was the only one that ate sardines with my grandfather!

  5. SuperBaby for sure! 😊

Pretty healthy boy. How does he eat broccoli, would that be broccoli soup? I’m sure you can’t wait to hug your French family. Such an emotional roller coaster, saying goodbye to one family and embracing the other. Take care.

    So precious!

  8. My oldest didn’t have her first tooth even showing under the gums till 13 months! and my youngest would refuse the free cookie at the grocery store and want a mushroom…
I hope you are able to fly out! And continuing thoughts and prayers for your amazing brother.

What is it with toddlers and broccoli? Every one of my children and grandchildren loved broccoli so much that my father started calling one of them “Brock”. Sardines sound like an odd choice, but we rarely had sardines in the old days, so they weren’t exposed to it. Your little fellow looks like he is getting an even balance of all foods. He is such and adorable bundle of squeezable love.

  12. My four year old niece didn’t have teeth until after her first birthday.

  13. Wow! He learning well. My grandson loved broccoli at that age too. Even at 7years now he requested kale for breakfast recently. So different from how I learned to love food. I just now am learning to appreciate vegetables more than ever. Good for Chelsea for guiding him in his love of food.
