Never too Old

barjac brocante

When you fall in love with the brocante it stays with you

The older woman leaned out her window, it could be me one day.

What will you still enjoy no matter what?

Without some good books to read during the quarantine I think I would have been lost. Reading is what I cannot do without. Otherwise, I think I wil always enjoy digging around at good estate sales, antique markets, consignment shops, and even junking by the roadside. The fun is the hunt! I actually remembered recently where I caught the bug ….. it was a little shop in Florida back in the 60’s called The White Elephant.

Roses….roses….roses. Growing them, pruning them, and filling a vase with the exquisite beauties. That enchanting fragrance filling my house.

  4. Reading. I will read until I can’t. I also love hunting antiques, but have probably exceeded my home’s capacity. 🙂

Flowers, reading, reading and listening to poetry, walking in the fog, searching for whatever, but always searching.

I would love to be the woman in the window❣️ And reading.

  11. I dream of being that lady in the window. What a great way to spend a day, people-watching at a brocante.
