  2. As all of us have been doing, I’ve been trying to process what’s happened and what it means for the future. Now I’m ready, I think, to turn to what I will do about it other than grieve and sorrow. I’m trying to point myself toward actions that will bring hope and do good rather than railing against what I can’t change, but the effort will be in fits and starts for a while, I think. Like all grief, it can’t be neatly tucked away after a few days.
