There will be light
there always is
even in unexpected places.

Thank you, dear Corey.
Yes, there is. 💕
Even after their darkest hours birds still continue to sing in the morning.
They bring us hope and light for another day

I just peeked out from under my covers this morning, reading the tragic headlines on my phone, 15,000 troops coming to my beautiful city of Washington DC, fences everywhere. I didn’t want to leave my warm cocoon until I read your one simple sentence, Corey. Thank you.
Yes.
This. Thank you.
I remember being taught that all it takes is the tiniest bit of light to break the darkness, but the same cannot be true for dark, -a law of physics that cannot be broken.
In this same vein my Gramma once told me that simply reverently invoking the name of God, Christ, or the Holy Spirit -where all light comes from, will cause the forces darkness to flee because dark cannot be in the same space as the Godhead. Hence the advice to always carry a prayer in our hearts.
Believer in God or not, the law of physics is irrefutable, and where there is light the dark flees. Keep searching for and bringing light.
Looking pretty dim and grim right now. Let’s get us through the inauguration!
True!
Your picture says it all! Robin
