Surrounded and Guided by Light

My brother Marty (60) went home this morning

He was surrounded by love and felt your prayers.

His family, brothers and mother were by his side.

His suffering is over. A heavenly host of love is welcoming him.

…. such sorrow, sadness and peace .

Thank you for your loving support.

My family thanks you as well. Marty often

talked about the overwhelming

sense of prayer being said and felt.

He said it gave him strenght.

May your journey forward Marty be beautiful.

  19. Cousin Linda

People all over the world through their connection to Corey lit candles and prayed. These are just a few from her California cousins, her Cabras. Everyone stopped what they were doing, lit a candle, took a photo and sent them to Corey. I think I’ll light a few more tomorrow, just because. Maybe it will make me feel closer to Marty. It’s so painful it think that I’ll never see him at another family gathering. How can this be?

  20. I didn’t know Marty but I felt like I did. It made me sad to hear he passed and sad also for all those who are close to Marty. Thank you Corey for sharing your life with all of us. You teach us well and bring us joy. And to Marty I pray you find peace on your journey!

Gone too soon. Too young. Too hard to cope with the loss. God please wrap your comforting arms around this grieving family. Although I’m sure it was difficult for your France family, I’m so glad you spent the spring of 2020 in Willows with your family. Love abounds

  41. Oh how I loved seeing all those candles. Thanks for going to the trouble of posting them.
I see from your next entry that Marty has passed.
It’s 15 years ago, always remembered, here paraphrased: As my friend (a medium) said to me and my sisters after our mom passed, “I’m sorry for you, for your grief, but not for your mom. She is in a beautiful place.”
I hope that holds true, and have no reason to disbelieve my friend.
I’m sorry, Corey, as I know this is so hard, no matter what anyone says.
Love to you and your mom and all your family, and be well, Marty, wherever you are.
    -Kate

  50. Many hearts are aching for you and your whole family. It was so wonderful he could be at home surrounded by loved ones. Even if some might have been through a window. I am sure there were many souls welcoming Marty into heaven. The candle I lit was fir scented which is normal for my surroundings but probably not for your area. I hope your family will be able to gather this summer to honor Marty and share many memories. He fought a long time. Much sympathy.

  51. Will light another candle. We all need light….
