Stories Collected While Living in France
At first glance I thought the oil painting I found at the brocante was of an Angel sleeping but after a closer look it is of a young man who has taken off his clothes for a swim, and later resting while using a bunch of twigs as a head rest which at a glance look like Angel wings.
Or maybe it is an earthly Angel in disguise.

Sometimes they hide in plain sight and only a faith filled being a believer would see the angel at rest look again saying that can’t be and you see a person – I saw an angel at rest….
I once got a fortune in a cookie at a Chinese restaurant that read “Angels guard your every step.”I painted that above my front door.

PS Didn’t find anything at Monday’s brocante in Nice but did find the perfect corner table; I’ll share a photo via Instagram shortly. It really makes me smile when I walk past it on my way out the door.
