   Such a great poetic reminder, thank you for sharing this.
   As far as this beautiful piece, in Japan they often use broken pottery as a metaphor for life, -repairing flaws, imperfections or brokenness with gold, silver, or platinum. The broken pottery is embraced, and the healed piece becomes now stronger for it. It is called Kintsugi.
