Daily Walk Foraged Flowers

Walking every day of the year allows me to see the transformation

brought on by each season,

also where flowers grow outside the boundaries of properties.

Clipper in the pocket off I go

hello, lilacs, rosemary, almond blossoms…

Do any of you know the name of the pink beaded flower branch? It is a tree blossom.

  1. I don’t, but there are a few apps for your phone that will identify plant material using a photo that you take. I use PlantNet. I can’t speak to 100% accuracy.

  2. The spring blooms are such a delight! Even walking just around town in Aix en Provence I’m finding wisteria, lilacs, redbuds (known as Judas tree here) irises and more. Your bouquet is glorious!

  3. Beautiful flowers, Corey! Having a bouquet of them in my home always make me happy! Love to you, friend.💕

  4. I don’t know what it is, but beautiful!
I go walking in my neighborhood, but I don’t think neighbors would appreciate me picking their flowers. Oh to walk in the countryside where I could pick to my hearts delight.

  5. Wonderful bouquet. I wonder though why you allow someone to have their foot on the table!! Love it.

  6. What a coincidence! Just last week I noticed a similar flowering small tree or large shrub in a meadow a few miles outside of Auburn, CA. I’d never seen one like it before. When I read your post I started searching and finally found this link: https://www.torontogardens.com/2010/05/tamarix-one-of-dirty-dozen.html/
I’m pretty sure it’s Tamarix, also known as Saltcedar. Pretty as it is, after reading this article, I definitely won’t be planting one!
