The silver lining. Great family photo. You’ll all remember this historical period in the world and your lives forever. Maybe even Gabriel. I have snippets of memories from when I was learning to walk and eating in a high chair. We moved from Wichita, Kansas, when I was three to a farm in Missouri so there was a clear demarcation in our lives at that point and I think that helps with recall.

There’s this: our daughter and her husband lived with us when their daughter, our first grandchild was born and spent much time with us for a couple of years until we lived in different cities. She’s always felt a special bond with us. We love all our grandchildren, of course, but we know her best.
