Drinking From a Tall Glass

Drinking From a Tall Glass

Anticipation.

Seven-hour drive due to stops to play,

when we arrived in Barcelona

we needed a drink

and Gabriel was for it.

He wanted to sit in a big chair, so here we were waiting for our drinks to come.

Drinking From a Tall Glass

These days his favorite foods are pasta, yogurt, and breastmilk-

– a drink in a Tall Glass was coming watching him discover is delightful.

Drinking From a Tall Glass

A happy little smile

of wonder and awe.

Apple juice in a tumbler.

Drinking From a Tall Glass

Gabriel took hold of his apple juice in the tall glass and went for it. Chelsea and Yann grabbed the glass true and went for it too.

  1. Mile stones! Wahoo!
I remember when our littles were this little. Gramma and Grampa would always ask for “an extra glass please!” When the glasses arrived we would pour off a bit of juice into the empty glass filling it only an inch or so making it much more manageable (and successful) for first timers. Seeing the “refills” readily available also made for more relaxed drinking.
And may I add, that beautiful glass filled to the brim with apple juice looked SO FABULOUS and tempting, no wonder everyone went in to help!
