Stories Collected While Living in France
Good morning!
Thanks for this reminder, the encouraging words of Henri Nouwen.
It brought to mind this, a portion of a poem written by Mary Oliver:
” … And what do I risk to tell you this, which is all I know?
Love yourself. Then forget it. Then, love the world.”
I call my Grandson my Beloved. I love that word………Yes another beautiful written word for us all to remember to love thyself.
Hugs
Love Jeanne
Such a beautiful and profound reminder —thank you, Corey!
YES!
A great follow up to your comment on not loving photos of yourself in your last post….A wonderful reminder. If we are made in God’s image, then who are we to dislike images of ourselves?
AMEN!
This is beautiful! Leave it to Henri Nouwen to say something like this.
