they are all nice but the countryside in Provence, i can it smell too. odd, but when i saw it, my nose picked up the scent of dust and pine and herbs.

  3. It is a toss up between At the Seaside and Two boats in Cassis…

  4. Diogenes

I think I like “At the Seaside” the best. Did you buy one?

  5. Cynthia Thompson

Really love them all, but Provencal countryside hits a sweet spot with me! Blessings

  6. At the seaside is my favourite if I have to pick.

  7. Debbie Lawton

Love the Boats at Cassis in particular – brings back memories – such a beautiful village.

Hi Corey, I feel as though I’m sort of with you all the way from Australia!
We are watching the Tour de France & I’m reading a 4th book in a series set in Aix and they went to the town of Cassis 😃
The books are wonderful & I spend a lot of time googling the towns etc. The author gives wonderful descriptions of the life and times in Aix. They are murder mysteries but oh so much more. I feel as tho I’m walking the streets of Aix, we have been there so can imagine the area. Reading sure beats housework 🤣🤣

  9. “We need ART
    because it moves us
the same way it moves others
    who are nothing like us
    except the way
    their hearts split open
    which in the end
    is all the likeness
    that counts”

Love Jeanne and they are all so lovely

Rows of Lavender and wheat first, followed by A Bridge over the Seine…all lovely though! Jennie

  11. All of the paintings are beautiful —— as is the quote from Jeanne. If I had to choose a favorite — it would be Walking the Trails in Saint Baume. Lovely, lovely.

  12. Bridge over t Seine and Walk in St. Baume, but they are all beautiful. They have such a French feel to them.

  13. Elizabeth Schaeffer

    Two boats in Cassis.

Is it okay in this blog to ask Leonie Buchanan from Australia the name of the author of the mystery books she has read set in Aix. I am a huge fan of Louise Penny who writes about 3 Pines and am looking for a new author. Thanks for any help.

  15. Teddee Grace

    Walking the Trails…Lovely.

  16. Bonnie Schulte

Walking the Trails in Saint Baume. Love, love it!

  18. Walking the trails…

    Seaside and lavender wheat

  20. Virginia

Two Boats in Cassis, but I felt transported by them all!
For Leonie Buchanan, is the mystery series set in Aix M.L. Longsworth’s? I’ve enjoyed the two I’ve read.

  21. Love the pink flowers, and the Provencal countryside. All lovely.

  22. Yes, all of them. I always love a bouquet. The walk in the woods is quite sweet too.

  23. Leonie Buchanan

Hi Virginia, yes they are by M.L. Longsworth, I have just finished the last one & can’t wait for the next book.

  24. Leonie Buchanan

Elizabeth Schaeffer the author is M.L.Longsworth, I google ‘books in order’ as my library don’t have all the novels so then I buy from Amazon. They are stand alone novels but main characters are in each book & as with series you become attached to the characters.
I’m sure you would enjoy them.

  25. Right away I knew the one that would be mine… Two Boats in Cassis! The blending colors of the sea, the boats tethered in the cove, with lovely tree branches hovering overhead. A place I would want to spend a lazy afternoon. I would never tire of gazing at this idyllic scene. Thank you!
