we are at our friend's Rodger and Arnelle
basking in their friendship
catching up after their long-awaited return
because covid they could not come back to France.
At the same time, we are babysitting Gabriel.

I am wishing I were there basking in Provence with all of you!
Road trip to Bucks County, PA. Getting together with a group of friends. We worked together over 40 years ago, waitressing, waitering and catering our way through college. First bit of travel in 18 months.
Babies in pools is such a fun activity! (World’s biggest bathtub!!!)
Tomorrow is our first family reunion in what seems like forever -I am SO looking forward to seeing everyone we have missed this past year!

Watching the early evening light shine through the almost-transparent perked-up ears of three yearling deer gracefully exploring a nearby hillslope.
Preparing for our trip to niece’s house (just an hour away) to celebrate the daughter’s first birthday. Cook out. Family. 100degree heat. Can’t wait🤣
Today I will take a picnic to the forest and commune with the trees.
Working on a watercolor, enjoying our pool, missing our grandkids greatly.
Enjoy your family and friend time. Next week I will see two old friends after 18 months of isolation! Unfortunately the virus in the area where I live is revitalizing. So I will need to be even more careful.
I’m going to be doing what Gabriel is doing but with a suit on! A beautiful day to be enjoying the water – the sun and friends!
