(I saw this advertisement and misunderstood it completely!)

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            The person was late because they had to stop and caress the dog.

Time got away from them because the dog was adorably entertaining, that they couldn't pull themselves away.

But when I first read it I thought, they were late because they froze when they saw the dog. 

I guess one reads this according to how they feel about dogs.

 

The other day at the park, Gabriel was playing on the grass when a puppy approached him.

A cute puppy, but a dog nevertheless.

Gabriel is afraid of dogs, too. 

The puppy started bouncing all over Gabriel.

Gabriel was terrified.

Luckily, Chelsea was nearby and scooped him up.

Poor little guy.

I would have died of fright right then and there.

Hence, I would have been very late.

 

I am getting better about dogs.

When I am out walking I remember the advice,

 some of you gave me, and it has helped.

Not that I am going to caress a dog any time soon. But at least I can walk by them and not panic.
