Driving Through

Driving across France.

From one coast to another.

From cool weather back to the heat.

Fields and fields of sunflowers, wheat, and

cows chewing their cud.

Glorious rain somewhere along the way.

What filled your day?

  1. Chère Corey,
    Another beautiful description.
My day was filled with the joys of living on la Côte d’Azur and accentuated by the gratitude I have for my adopted country.
Thank you for asking my dear.
    Bon week-end,
    Ella

Beautiful scene, Corey. And I am so glad to read of rain falling!
We are in the mountains of Graubunden, here in Switzerland. Our dear friends have a mountain apartment that we are able to use from time to time.
And *we* had rain last night, and thunder, lightning! It was wonderful to watch from a dry, comfortable chair 😉

I am in the middle of the United States in southern Illinois. High temps in the high 90’s today.
Enjoying painting a watercolor birthday card for my daughter-in-law.
And looking out to the sunshine striking the leaves and flowers while staying cool inside.

  4. Day filled eating fresh summer produce and mostly staying indoors another heat advisory day so inside in the cool central air for us.
    Hugs

  5. Day filled with starting to write a column for one of next month’s issues of “The Portuguese Tribune.” Then as the day got hotter, I decided to take a nap in the air-conditioned part of our house. Zzzz…

  6. Driving through the countryside is a lovely way to just fill the day.
