My Cup isn’t Running Over

Many moons ago I saw this cup at a brocante.

As I was with clients I didn’t ask the price. Instead I walked ever so slowly by it wishing upon wishes that I could just scoop it up.

Isn’t is a lovely.

Maybe, if I bought it I wouldn’t think about it as much.
If I were a potter I would try to lake one.

But I am not.

Have you seen an old cup like this before?

  1. Just curious, what would you pay for something like this?

  2. Hi Nancy,
On a good day at a Vides Grenier, maybe three euros.
At a brocante with luck on my side, 35 Euros.
    At an antique market… gulp
I assume a cup like that would go for 125 euros.
    It was unusual.
