The Extra Full Train

train line

The train was full coming home, not unusual, but when we got on, they announced that the electronic boards with the car numbers were wrong. So everyone had to get out and race to their right car.

Chaos!

It was crazy and funny to watch everyone’s reactions. My car was literally at the opposite end, which made me happy I packed light.

  2. I think I would have missed the train if I had to run far.
    Glad you made it.

  3. When we took the TGV down to Marseille to visit you, after Farmboy Husband had gotten on the train with all our luggage (and lunch) the door automatically slammed shut (obviously on a timer) — while I was left all alone on the platform. Fortunately, three solicitous TGV employees, one of whom spoke pretty good English, got me on the next train an hour later, and even in a first-class seat!

  4. Not being able to get my luggage and self of a TGV at the right stop when in France is a recurring nightmare when visiting France. Sofar,so good.
