Stories Collected While Living in France
There is a common practice amongst smokers in France.
As soon as they walk outside they light up.
Inhale as their life depends on it.
When every tobacco leaf is burned they deposed their cigarette where they stand.
Disgusting.
Today, I walked outside to see an ashtray at my feet.
Dear Smoker,
Second hand smoke kills.
Please smoke away from the front door.

Ironic that you post this today – I was just watering our potted trees outside where I saw a recent guest had stuck cigarette butts after a visit. Not cool. They should collect them and throw them away properly.

I’ll never forget getting off the plane the first time I flew to Europe. There, standing under a ‘Do Not Smoke’ sign, were a dozen smokers puffing away.
