Stories Collected While Living in France
We are having a large birthday bash for our daughter turning 37!!! We will feast with family and friends, some of whom we have not seen since 2020. We will also remember six people who have dined at our table who have died over the years (none to Covid). Sad and happy.
Maybe make pumpkin whole wheat muffins, visit with friends, groom the cats and dog, watch old movies or French mysteries. It is supposed to be rather cold this weekend so that is the excuse for nesting.
Going to an auction preview. Can’t help myself.
I’m going to hibernate.
Saturday going to a bible class presented by a world-renowned theologian. Sun watching football. Superbowl this year is 5 miles north of our house, lots of hype from now until then.
We are puppy sitting our 2 year old apricot Cavapoo grand dog who loves to go on frequent walks around the neighborhood !
Beginning tax prep. Hubs & I are going to movie to see Otto. And then Sunday church and watch football playoff games. (Dallas Cowboys should be a part of but as usual they stumped their toes)
Hunkering down for some cold temps. Going to get down to -2F tomorrow night and will be watching the NFL Conference Championship games tomorrow. Go Chiefs!
Spending time with my son and family who are visiting from Düsseldorf and my son visiting from Bangor. Nothing makes me happier than time with them.

Here in Boulder, I am tucking in for the cold spell caused by an arctic front. Our overnight low expected to be 6 F tomorrow morning. Plan to make homemade tahini flavored granola and some basil pesto then curl up with Princess our sweet little Pomchi.
Setting up brand new laptop because hard drive crashed in middle of doing taxes. 😩
Well, I’m not picking roses this weekend!
Making the first batch of Seville Orange Marmalade. The oranges here come from California of course. Also just preparing a canvas to paint a picture.
