Magic Lantern

1700s Creamer

A magic lantern of sort

from the 1700s

Just that is magical, if not amazing.

What do you wish for, desire for, and long for? Does it matter?

Is letting the Genie out like letting Pandora out?

Is it true to be careful what you wish for?

Am I overthinking this morning?

Or is the brocante taunting me with all its good stuff?

I no longer yearn for things. I am, in fact, trying to divest myself of objects.
I wish for longevity and good health for me and my family and friends.
I long for peace and better health for our planet. As I age, I find my needs and wants have changed considerably.
It is the people in my life that bring me joy. I’ve been blessed.

  4. Reading your words and seeing that magic lantern has me wondering and dreaming of wishes to come.
For me one wish is to travel the world, see peoples shining faces, hug more, shed a few tears, and to be treated with kindness.
