Yann pronounces my name well.
He also pronounces quarry like Corey.
I pronounce Yann’s name right most of the time, though sometimes it sounds like yawn, but not as a yawn.
The French are puzzled that my name isn’t a diminutive of Corrine or Coralie. And rarely do they say it right. So I tell them it sounds like Korea in French. But, in the south of France, my name is Cor-AY because of their articulation.
But but but… I am the worse at remembering people’s names and Yann is ten thousand times worse than me. So being called Cor-Ay or Korea is better then nothing.
