We went to the sea to celebrate Olivia’s birthday.
The weather was exceptionally warm, which made for perfect picnic weather.
Sormiou is one of the Calanques between Marseille and Cassis.
The Calanques National Park is a protected and highly regulated area,
stretching over 20 km from Marseille to Cassis,
with 26 Calanques of various sizes (25 in Marseille and 1 in Cassis).

However, the water is cold due to freshwater seeping through rock cracks.
But that has never stopped me from swimming.
