That looks like the mascot for the old “Toys-R-Us” stores. Used to be able to buy them there. His name is Geoffrey.

My favorite animal….well, the real ones. So defenseless against the lions, when they lean down to get a drink of water. Scientist are working on finding out why, with their heads so far from their hearts, they don’t pass out. I think I loved them the first time I fed one at the Memphis Zoo when I was a child….his tongue was like wet wool. I would love to go and visit where they stick their heads in the window while you are having breakfast!! What fun!
