Ireland with Friends

Spending magical days in Cork Ireland, at my friend Carrie’s home. I might never leave x The Irish are very kind and friendly. Carrie is outgoing and never meets a stranger. She amazes me how she does that. She even stopped on the road to talk to the policeman who was controlling traffic! They talked as if they had known each other for years. It never ceases to amaze me how she weaves everyone together in five seconds.

We met up with Ling Ling! I haven’t seen these two since 2019 before Covid. What a happy reunion. I met Carrie through blogging 12 years ago. She came to France and stayed with me.

Ling Ling is a master masseuse and practices Chinese medicine, before Covid she worked on Yann’s back which he had suffered for years. She came to see us in France too. And after a few sessions Yann’s back has never bothered him again. But, I must say it wasn’t a gentle massage. Yann said it was torture. Ling Ling worked on me as well, it was tough but felt great.

And she loves antiques, duh.

Carrie took this photo of us. Liam is a friend of Carrie’s and Ling Ling and Liam are a pair.

Yann didn’t join us this trip and we were toasting him.

Pooh.

We did a video chat with Yann and he wanted to jump through the screen to be with us.

Too late.

We made him envious.

Too bad.

Too sad.

🤭

Look Yann… Liam gave me flowers!

Hint hint.

❤️

We had a fabulous meal together at

Cafe Paradiso. A vegetarian feast!

 …

The wonders of blogging is that I have met hundreds of beautiful people like you! I am eternally grateful xxx
