1) Find a song you like. Listen to it and feel how it moves you, guides you, sets you on fire.
2) Practice singing. Everywhere you go and in the moments throughout your day. A love song needs to be heard it doesn’t matter if it is out of tune, or not on the top ten list. It’s your song.
3) Sing it with family, friends, and especially strangers.
Sing it in a whisper, out loud and on the top of your lungs.
4) Usually if a love song stirs you, you will sing it for a very long time through the valleys, over the hills deep sea diving, cherry picking, roasting marshmallows, saying goodbye, creating a home and even sitting around waiting for a bus.
5) The love song might change beat, or rhythm, or be remixed. But a love song flows, flows, and flows; Even over the damns. Even if you cannot hear it, it is there.
6) Don’t worry that your voice might not be good enough, or that you might not be able to carry a tune, or that your melody might be a bit flat.
Singing a love song changes all that. Just sing and sing often.
It is your song to share.
