Untangled

We need to start untangling the darkness from light. Not in some small sections. Not from just these threads and not those threads. We must do better than untie some knots, while pushing aside the mess. Yes, it is complicated- tell me what isn’t?

Life may feel tangled, but within the chaos are golden threads—small moments of connection and clarity. By untangling these threads, we can find hope in the unexpected. Giving, at its core, is about unraveling those moments with care, creating something new from what once felt like a bunch of knots. Every act of giving, no matter how small, becomes a thread that leads us toward light and understanding.

Instructions on living in a broken world

    Lean into community

    Seek out love

    Applaud the good you see

    Keep paying attention

    Talk to your neighbours

Dance to the music and embrace art

Look for love and small joys

Take breaks and relish in nourishing your body

    Donate what you can

Linger at the dinner table with friends

    Check in with your people

    Let yourself grieve

Love one another as deeply as you can

The storm is upon us and we must hold on

Don’t give up, we’re here together.

    Still we rise

Grieve today, tomorrow we rise again.
