Heading to Willows

Can you guess how old this photo is? There are two people in it who look drastically different, and I am not one of them. Gabriel is five months old in this photo. Warren my nephew (in his Dad’s arms) before he turned into a teenager.

When there are children in your life you can easily see time passing just by looking at them. And as we know it goes by quickly.

My nephews Jack (who married two years ago), George (who recently bought a home!) and Joe and Sam (who came to visit us last summer) and Andy (who was 6’5 the last time I was home.)

Do you like to travel? Do you like to fly? Do you pack light?
I love to travel, Flying doesn’t bother me- if I don’t think about it; and I pack a carry on only, and wear the same clothes over and over. Packing stresses me so I barely do it.

I will be home for only several days. The shortest visit since I messed up my ticket. Hopefully, I will return in a few months time. I will have to soak in every breathng moment with gratitude and love.

Have a wonderful, albeit short, visit! I LOVE to travel, the idea of packing a bag (I am usually a carry on only person too) and going to the airport is SO EXCITING, even though it is now so uncomfortable and undignified being herded into a crowded tube with disgruntled fellow passengers, I still love it. Call me crazy.

Here’s hoping you won’t hit any bumps along the way and you will soon be with your wonderful family in Willows.

    1. So well said! Still I feel fortuante to be able to fly (like you) even if I am squished!

  2. Safe travels Corey!

Exciting times for you, seeing your Mom and family, albeit for a quickie visit…I don’t love to fly, loathe being cooped up and have not done so for a long time, after years of travel all over the world, I am pretty content where I am in NZ, seeing my country and feeling safe in these troubled times….I may travel again when the world calms down a bit! Enjoy your time..Jennie, NZ

    1. That is so true. But, unfortunately, if I waited for that I would rarely fly 🙁

I love to fly, love to travel.
It’s a good thing! Living far from my brother, my adult children.

Each moment will be precious for you!

    1. it is a good thing that you love to travel since you have family abroad!

  8. Love to travel. Flying is faster than a row boat, but still abour 21 hrs flying time from Perth, W. Aus. to Nice, Fr., with +_ 3.5 hours to make connection in Dubai.
    Still worth it!
Have a wonderful time in California, Corey!!Bon Voyage!
